System sequence
How the system works
1. Pay
The customer pays with M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel or Halopesa (USSD push via ClickPesa). TZS 1,000 = 1 lantern for 15 hours.
2. Token
The system sends a 12-digit token by SMS. It is signed with that machine's own key and can never be reused.
3. Machine
The operator types the token into the ESP32 machine. The balance appears and drops with every lantern connected.
4. Lantern
The lantern lights up and counts its own time. When the time runs out it switches itself off — even with a full battery.
